Biography
Born and raised in east Detroit during the formative years of the Motown sound, "JJ" (Judith's college nickname) was often accompanied by her towns' soulful rhythms, as she put in years of course work toward a degree in studio art, photography, and foreign languages.
Travels during a study hiatus to Europe, Greece, and Turkey led her to explore these new cultures with a Minolta point & shoot, and visually awakened thru-the-lens. Within a few years she was brought to another gritty yet musical city, Kingston, with a curious fascination of reggae and ska sound. 3 children later, a move back to the USA and Arizona , and eventually innovator friendly California, where she resides today in the historic ranchero/Mission town os San Juan Capistrano.
Currently Judith is actively involved with visual design marketing and business development for Anderson Consulting Architects. In addition, ongoing portrait photography requests, exhibitions, travel and cultural photo projects. and a photographic accessory product line is launching in Spring of 2015.
